Detail Itinerary
Day: 1 Arrived at Kathmandu
You may arrive at the airport at any time. When you arrive, you will be welcomed by one of Mountain path representatives who will be there to greet and welcome you. You will then be transferred to your hotel and further information will be given to you by the representative. As you do not have anything else planned for the day, you may relax at the hotel for the remainder of the time. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: sightseeing kathmandu valley
The very next morning, after breakfast you will leave for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. You can visit sacred Pashupatinath Temple and Swayambhunath, very ancient and essentially enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites. The biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath and the fine arts and historical architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square reflecting the ancient Nepalese culture are highlighted on our guided tour.
Day 3: rest day and legal formalities:
This might be a rest day for you as all the trekking permits and the official formalities would be finalized this day. You will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the popular streets.
Day 4: fly from kathmandu and trek to phakding (2652m)
Early morning we flight from Kathmandu to Lukla via mountain flight of about 40 minutes scenic flight. With clear weather we get fantastic views of the mountains, including Everest as we enter deep gorge of the Dudh Kosi valley. You begin your trek from Lukla following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi River. Along the way you will have a view of Mt Nupla (5885m) Kusum Kanguru (6367m) and Mount Kwongde Range. We then take an easy walk for about two hours to Phakding village.
Day 5: phakding to Lukla (3440m)
From Phakding the trail follows the Dudh Kosi valley north, meandering through the pines, crossing it twice by small suspension bridges before reaching the village of Monjo, the entrance gate of the Sagarmatha National Park. Along the way to you will be rewarded with your first glimpse of Kusum Kanguru (6369m) Thamserku (6608m), Everest (8848 m) and Nuptse (7879 m). After a final steep ascent of about two hours we get first sight fist of at Mt. Everest, peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. A steep climb up to the beautiful village of Namche bazaar (3440m) will afford you further spectacular views and a comfortable place to spend the second night of the trek.
Day 6: acclimatization day in namche
Accommodate your body to high altitude of Namche as you have gained much height previous day. Set in a natural amphitheatre looking across to the jagged ridge of Kongde RI (6187m), Namche Bazar is one of the most attractive settlements in the khumbu region. We will have a full day rest so that we won’t face any problem ahead. You have full day leisure for wonderful panoramic view or stroll around the market You can also enjoy the splendid views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Touche, and Kwangde and so on.
Day 7: namche bazaar to tengboche (3867 m)
We start our trek with pleasant walk through the forest with magnificent view of mountains. The trail climbs past some water-powered prayer wheels and begins a sustained climb through a forest of tall, mature rhododendrons. The start of the Tengboche (3870m), the village is scattered across a wide, grassy saddle below a crescent-shaped ridge covered by scrub pines and firs. From the view point at the top of the hill, there are awe-inspiring views of distinctive peaks like Amadablam (6856m), standing proud of the massif containing Everest (8848 m), Nuptse (7861m), Lhotse (8501m) and inspiring views of Himalayan giants. We visit the Buddhist Monastery at Tengboche, the largest in Khumbu region.
Day 8: tengboche to Pheriche (4280 m)
In the morning views of mountain and monasteries are spectacular in Tengboche. From Tengboche we head north and soon cross the Dudh Kosi river by way of a small suspension bridge which spans a deep chasm in the river valley. Follow the trail as far as Orsho and take the lower path along the west bank of the Imja Khola, through the forest of birches conifers and rhododendrons. As we follow the river northward the trails pass through several chortens and mani walls and small villages. Today’s walk offers views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the north-Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse.
Day 9: pheriche to lobuche (4940 m)
It joins the trail below thungla beautiful views of cholatse across the valley. After another steep ascend the trail climbs up and over the terminal moraine of khumbu glacier. Today’s walk offers views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the north-Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. The path follows a pleasant, grassy valley. Stark and rugged beauty creates almost moonscape campsite at Lobuche a wind swept collection of huts tucked in a narrow meadow between the glacier and the Lobuche peak. Tawoche and Nuptse are particularly spectacularly from Lobuche towering.
Day 10: lobuche to gorak shep (5170 m)
The first section of the trail from Lobuche follows the narrow gap between the glacial moraine and the mountain walls, past turn off to the Italian pyramid. Take time to detour to the edge of moraine to look over the Khumbu glacier. Along windy and rocky path with the wonderful view of Mt. Pumori, Nuptse and other magnificent peaks, we reach Gorakshep. After lunch our adventure continues towards Everest Base Camp. The trail passes through over rocky dunes and moraine and streams. In Everest Base Camp the climbers gather for summiting Everest during the high expedition season.

Day 12: returning back to kathmandu from base camp to Lobuche:
Mornings are usually sparkling and clear and this is the best time to climb the Kalapathar for one of the world’s definitive mountain views. We will be rewarded the 360 degree dramatic panorama views of Mt Everest and surroundings mountains like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku along with many other peaks. You will have an easy walk for about 2hrs to reach Lobuche.
Day 13: lobuche trek to pangboche and tengboche (3867 m)
We will trek down through the hillside blanketed by rhododendron and juniper trees. It Takes approximately four hours to Thyangboche. It is a small village with a famous monastery offering you splendid views of Mt. Amadablam, lush green hills and river views.
Day 14: tengboche to namche
After crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River trek onwards to the Kyanjuma the junction of the trinity ways to Gokyo Valley, Khumjung village and Namche Bazaar. Dense wildlife of some species of Pheasants, Himalayan Griffons, Musk deer and wild goat can be found abundance inside the rhododendron forest. Evening explore small surrounding area with magnificent scenery.
Day 15: namche bazaar trek and back to lukla (2850 m)
The descent from Namche to the Dudh koshi can be the hardest stage of the entire trek. Although the path is all downhill, the unrelenting slope places massive impact on the knees. Once you cross the high suspension bridge, the path runs mostly level. We will work though rhododendron and pine forests with the view of distance snow covered peak before arriving Phakding. Enjoying the lush green scenery around and passing through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village arrival in Lukla. You’ll have time to stroll around the local areas. In the evening you can enjoy a typical Nepalese dinner and cultural show.
Day 16: fly back to kathmandu
we will have a flight back to ktm of an exciting one hour. At the evening you can have your last night in Nepal enjoying culture and the local traditions.
Day 17: rest day:
Today you will have a free day in Kathmandu valley. Have some rest in your hotel. You can also take a leisurely stroll over the streets and buy some souvenirs and remembering from Nepal. At evening we will have a typical Nepali dinner accompanied with cultural shows in Hotel.
Day 18: fly back to your destination
We will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight to onward destination.
